CHAVASCKALL Liturgias Blasfémicas do Culto Satânico CD

Liturgias Blasfémicas do Culto Satânico is the debut full-length album by the Portuguese black metal project Chavasckall, released on December 23, 2022, through Prophetical Productions. This release officially launched the catalog of the Ílhavo based label and represents the vision of the musician known as 7 Peles (LordSir Setepeles), a veteran of the national underground also involved in projects like Portal do Inferno, Vil Garrote, and Cães de Guerra. The music is a display of harsh, unpolished, and raw Black Metal that intentionally avoids melody in favor of a dark and primitive atmosphere. The album consists of eight tracks, simply titled Invocação I through Invocação VIII, creating a continuous 36-minute ritual of blasphemy. The sound is characterized by razor-sharp guitars and a cold production style that pays homage to the most traditional and aggressive roots of the genre. Lyrically and conceptually, the work is a deep dive into satanic cultism and anti-religious devotion, delivered through visceral Portuguese vocals. The physical edition was limited to 300 copies on CD, featuring an 8-page booklet with lyrics and artwork that reflects the project's morbid aesthetic. For collectors of the Lusitanian scene, Chavasckall serves as a pure example of orthodox black metal—focused solely on the invocation of darkness without compromising for modern accessibility.
