Doppelgänger's Deceit is the second solo album from the Japanese virtuoso guitarist known simply as Warzy. Based in Osaka, Warzy is a legendary figure in the Japanese underground, best known for his work with the thrash metal bands Hate Beyond and Narcotic Greed, as well as his roots in the hardcore group Inzest. This album is a high-octane celebration of shred guitar, blending aggressive Thrash and Heavy Metal with incredible technical speed. The record is notable for its international guest list, featuring appearances from members of Raging Fury, Vigilante, and his long-time collaborator Bomber (Hate Beyond). It also includes high-energy covers of the Loudness classic "Dream Fantasy" and Blondie’s "Call Me," the latter featuring vocals from Miranda Macabre.
