Hailing from the Czech Republic, the grindcore band Pisstolero released their debut full-length album, Pissturbed, in 2009 through the prominent goregrind and extreme metal label Bizarre Leprous Production. The band features members from South Bohemia, some of whom were previously involved with the group Flatv5, and they brought a similar sense of high-energy, chaotic intensity to this project. The music on this record is a quintessential example of Czech Grindcore, blending fast-paced, punishing rhythms with the groovy and humorous elements typical of the regional scene. The album consists of 23 tracks packed into a brief and explosive 30-minute runtime, showcasing a relentless barrage of drunken grindcore energy. The songs are characterized by their raw, aggressive guitar riffs and a vocal style that fluctuates between guttural roars and high-pitched screams. Tracks like Urine Luck, Pissturbed, and Alkohol highlight the band's focus on themes of intoxication, bodily functions, and general absurdity, all delivered with a frantic and uncompromising musical backdrop.
