GORGON The Jackal Pact CD

Unearth a classic artifact of cult French black metal with The Jackal Pact, the iconic 1998 CD album by underground veterans Gorgon, reissue engineered in 2020 through Non Posse Mori Records and Goétie Exhumation. Packed with melodic black metal riffing, raw speed, and menacing vocal venom across eleven timeless tracks, this reissue brings back a quintessential piece of nineties underground history. The record erupts with the fierce speed of the title track The Jackal Pact before charging into the relentless drive of When Night Is Law, The Ghostly Chapel, and the sinister atmosphere of The Passage. The dark momentum continues through In Front of the Ankou, From Red to Violet, and the sharp aggression of The Book with Black Pages and Cursed Pleasures. Short, sharp blasts like Pseudomonarchia lead into the majestic weight of In the Ruins of Babylon, before concluding with the ruthless speed of Time to Murder Your Family. Essential for die-hard collectors of nineties French black metal, underground reissues, and classic extreme metal archives.
