DHÄRNÜRGH Apocalyptic Vision CD

The 2021 album Apocalyptic Vision by the French project Dhärnürgh, released as a collaboration between Acid Vicious and Feu Follet Productions, is a uncompromising work of Industrial Black Metal. This release is the solo project of the musician known as Räts (also associated with Morguiliath and Suicide Circle), who handles all instruments and vocals. Following a series of shorter releases and a split, this album was conceived as a gap of darkness, delivering a sound that is intentionally harsh, razor-sharp, and devoid of any hopeful or melodic relief. The record is composed of six tracks that merge traditional, high-speed black metal with industrial undertones and a lo-fi, noisy production style that borderlines on punk aesthetics in its rawest moments. The tracks included are Children Of Chaos, Be Cursed, World Sakrifiss, King Of Nothingness, Mörd, and Be Yourself And Comit Murder. Critics have described the sound as having piercing guitars and cavernous vocals from beyond the grave, creating a sense of total atmospheric gloom. Issued as a limited edition professional CD in digipak with only 500 copies produced, Apocalyptic Vision serves as a definitive statement of nihilism and auditory extremity within the modern French black metal underground.
