BALFOR Black Serpent Rising CD

Unleash the crushing grandeur of Ukrainian epic black metal with Black Serpent Rising, the mighty 2017 CD album by Kyiv-based force Balfor, released through Drakkar Productions. Blending razor-sharp black metal aggression with majestic melodies, heavy thrash-infused rhythms, and a towering atmospheric production across eight colossal tracks, this release stands as an essential masterpiece of modern Eastern European extreme metal. The album ignites with the sprawling dark power of Serpents of the Black Sun, charging straight into the barbaric intensity of Dawn of Savage and the venomous momentum of Unbounded Wrath of Venom. The epic journey surges onward through Heralds of the Fall, the relentless speed of Among the Fallen Ones, and the feral savagery of Wolfbreed. Reaching its glorious, dark climax, the record drives home its final powerful blows with the atmospheric depth of A Vulture's Spell and the heroic force of the closing anthem Crimson Stronghold. Mandatory for fans of atmospheric black metal, pagan-tinged aggressiveness, and high-caliber underground CD releases.
