ARCANUS TENEBRAE Odium in Homines CD

Surrender to the cold, suffocating darkness of Portuguese underground black metal with Odium in Homines, the devastating 2008 CD album by cult act Arcanus Tenebrae, released via Drakkar Productions. Masterfully blending raw, aggressive guitar riffs with deeply atmospheric passages and venomous vocal expressions across nine haunting tracks, this release stands as an uncompromising relic of Iberian subterranean extremity. The album opens with the ominous instrumental piece 'Ωkù-µopoç, setting a grim tone before plunging directly into the raw speed of Noite... A Obscura and the expansive, dark soundscapes of Escuridão. The sonic ritual deepens through the menacing weight of Tortuous Spirit and the colossal ten-minute centerpiece Pest (The Coming & Forward). The second half continues its descent into chaos following the eerie instrumental Tenebricosus, surging forward with Hateful Blackness in the Horizon and the cold momentum of Pelo Desconhecido..., before reaching its final bleak resolution with the instrumental closure Ai µatŋpoç. Essential for die-hard collectors of cult European black metal, raw underground releases, and Portuguese extreme music heritage.
