ANTI LIFE Black Metal Contra Você! CD
Anti Life is a fierce and uncompromising raw black metal band from Brazil that channels themes of misanthropy, anti-Christianity, war, and societal chaos. In 2024, the band consolidated a massive portion of their aggressive sonic legacy with the compilation album Black Metal Contra Você!, released through the underground label HateLife Productions. This extensive sixteen-track collection serves as a definitive testament to the project's hostile identity, bringing together various eras of their musical output into a singular, devastating document defined by razor-sharp tremolo picking, blistering blast beats, and piercing, venomous Portuguese vocals. The compilation is structurally divided into distinct chapters, beginning with a brief, ominous Intro that immediately explodes into the militant and defiant rhythms of Covardes Não Fazem História. The auditory assault continues with the sprawling, melancholic black metal textures of Imemorável Falso Império, the nationalistic fury of Defenda Sua Terra Dourada, and the suffocating atmosphere of Infértil Utopia, before culminating in the brief but highly violent outburst of Morte aos Inimigos. The second segment of the record is introduced by another haunting instrumental Intro, leading into the chaotic anthem A Nossa Arte é o Caos and the bleak, reflective guitar leads of Memórias. The hostility turns directly toward religious institutions with the savage tempos of Porcos Cristãos and the apocalyptic weight of Bem Vindos ao Começo do Fim. The final chapter of this massive compilation begins with the unsettling atmosphere of Intro (Tortura), plunging the listener into the core philosophy of the band with the track Anti Vida. The band's radical stance is further cemented through the furious, blasphemous crusade of Guerra Contra a Tirania Cristã (Queimem Igrejas), followed by the terrifying, fast-paced rhythms of Bem Vindo ao Terror. Finally, Anti Life brings this monumental compilation to a crushing and misanthropic conclusion with Destrua a Vida, sealing the collection with a final, unyielding wave of chaotic black metal dissonance and absolute hatred for human existence.
